Speaking of which, this $16 Nyko PS3 controller is the other controller that I own. I played through the entirety of Cave Story with it, and it was awesome.ДЇunnily enough, I once tried plugging it into a PS3 and it actually worked! Although it's just a bit limited in terms of inputs compared to a PS3 controller. Works great with emulators, and with Joy2Key. instead of inputting UpLeft, UpRight, DownLeft, and DownRight, they register as Up, Up, Down, and Down (respectively). Just like a real NES controller, you could probably drop it out of a plane and it would still work perfectly.ДЄs for functionality, it works perfectly with the default Windows drivers. i recently bought a tomee controller to play snes9x (v1.42 because v1.53 keeps crashing) on my netbook, but im having trouble setting the diagonal direction inputs. USB ADAPTERS: Atari 2600 Joystick (Third Party) NES Controller (Tomee) NES. It's held together by 6 metal screws, the plastic is quite thick, and the cable is also thick and sturdy. But in terms of overall build quality, it seems pretty much identical. The A and B buttons also feel very slightly more concave. The color of the the plastic body is very slightly different from a real NES controller, and of course it lacks the Nintendo logo on the front and back. I've got this one, and it works perfectly fine.
